On last Saturday, March 26th, and few days after his experience in Abu Dhabi, Hans participated at the race in the European circuit of Rosenau, in France and close to the German border. This circuit is very flat and many cyclists come to check their progress against another competitors.
At the same Hans category 57 handbikers participated.
Such massive start can be very dangerous and the first curve located just 100 meter from the start was not the best place to risk. Hans controlled his speed till arrive there and then he could easily overtake others cyclists and staying in a small group of 5 handbikers.
Hans remaining in the leading group until last kilometres suffering for the overexertion. His average speed was almost 35 km/h, which was a good results thinking about the moderate speed at the beginning of the race.
Hans is very satisfied with the results and emerge unscathed, because during the race there were many accidents of different kind and many bicycles were damaged
Hans remains an example of perseverance and effort for all of us. We are proud to be partakers of his sportive career.
