On last April 9th, Hans van der Heiden participated at the Benicassim half marathon. This is one of that kind of races where handbikers and runners compete together creating much excitement and attracting large audiences. The handbikers starting ahead of the runners enjoying the minds of the viewers.
Hans results in this competition have been fantastic arriving in second place and most importantly just 3 minutes behind the champion of Spain in route.
The average speed almost reached 33 Km/hour in a circuit with a lot of curves.
For Hans was a very fun race and he enjoyed very much.
Hans remains an example of perseverance and effort for all of us. We are proud to be partakers of his sportive career.
