At this Holland Championship edition they celebrated the races for all categories, from amateurs till professionals during two intensive weeks. It took place in Emmen, located at Northeast of the country.
Hans participated in the individual championship, on Wednesday (June 24th) time trial race.
At the moment of the 18 km. race start (9:00 am), the temperature was below 10ºC in the area around the city center. At that kind of races it allowed that the car team of the cyclist follow him giving confidence and security to Hans.
In Holland they do not put fences but two motorized police agents open the way for each cyclist. It was a new and funny experience for Hans.
The times made by Hans were very goods. 18 km. with an average of 33 km/h speed, finishing in 4th position. The Holland participants have a very high level, so Hans was really happy to participate in this championship.
Hans remains an example of perseverance and effort for all of us. We are proud to be partakers of his sportive career.
