Ceramic proppants. XIETA® - “LightWeight”

  • Made with first quality materials, which give them high mechanical properties and great chemical stability. Consequently, they do not react with any fluid or material during the operation.
  • Specific and packing densities similar to the Frac Sand.
  • Higher conductivity between the existing proppants, which confer them great extraction efficiency.
  • The XIETA®-“LightWeight” is the most widely used between the ceramic proppants for all kind of wells and specially for the drilling of shallow petrol and gas wells; as it may stand pressures around the 7.000 psi (48 Mpa).

Available sizes: 20/40, 30/50 and 40/70

  • API Breaking Test

Grains breaking test, standardized by API (American Petroleum Institute). During this test Proppants are submitted to pressure conditions (with an uniaxial press) during two minutes. After this essay upper finesse percentage (<0.42 mm) of 14% are out for the 16/30 and 20/40 classes and also percentages upper to 10% for 30/50 and 40/60 classes.
