After his success in the race held in Abu Dhabi Formula 1 circuit where Hans lived an unforgettable experience, overcoming the personal challenge not only assuming travelling alone, but also getting good times despite the strong wind on the date of the first race, even he was found, on his return, with the fantastic news of his nomination as the Best Athlete of the year in Oropesa (Castellon).
Last Friday it took place the 5th Sport Gala of Oropesa, in the hall of “L´´ Espai Cultural” where Hans van der Heijden was elected THE BEST ATHLETE OF THE YEAR.
